An Asbury Park man who had previously been convicted of sexually assaulting five women was found not guilty in a retrial of a case involving one of the alleged victims.

An appellate court previously overturned 50-year-old Michael Askins’ conviction where he was sentenced to 125 years in prison and ordered that at least one of the cases be tried individually. The first of those cases came to a conclusion on Friday.
